our Story
Birthed from a deep-rooted love for community, tradition, and the great outdoors, The Summer Haus is more than just any summer program - it's a transformative experience for the youth of Merrimack Valley. Our mission is to recreate the magic our founder, Brendon Medugno, experienced as a child, fostering independence, promoting healthy competition, and forming lifelong friendships.
From our humble beginnings of only 32 kids in our 1st location called Rize Athletics to our current summer-long and year-round programs at our amazing new facility in Andover Ma, the summer series has become a staple in the community.
In 2018, we expanded our programming by adding the CIT (Counselor in training) Program for campers ages 14-15 who had previously attended Summer Series. This allowed our campers to come back and take on leadership roles and help out with the younger campers.
Due to the expanded and consistent programming, children who first participated in our summer camp have remained involved over the years and are now young adults. They’ve committed to our program and several have become counselors themselves, while others regularly volunteer at other camp activities.
The summer series is about giving back to the community, providing opportunities for youth to grow and succeed, and creating lasting memories that will be cherished for years to come.
